As members complete activities, they earn badges. Feel free to use this page as a reference point for the correct badge positions on your child's uniform. The Beavers, Cubs and Scouts uniforms are detailed on this page.

Beaver Badge Locations

Beavers need:

• A Beaver top (available from the Scout Shop - See links page),

• A 1st Thorpe necker (Scout shop),

• Activity trousers,

• Woggle (provided by us),

• Badges (all provided by us).

The badges go in the following positions:

Cub Badge Locations

Cubs need:

• A Cub top (available from the Scout Shop - See links page),

• Their 1st Thorpe necker from Beavers,

• Activity trousers,

• Woggle from Beavers (Akela may change it for a different colour),

• Badges transferred from their Beaver uniform: World Membership badge, Group Tag, Eastern Norwich, Royal Navy, Beaver Bronze (if awarded), Staged Activity badges and Participation badge.

Badges not transferred onto their Cub uniform can go on their camp blanket which they will start in Cubs.

The badges go in the following positions.

Scout Badge Locations

Scouts need:

• A Sea Scout top (available from the Scout Shop - See links page),

• Their 1st Thorpe necker from Cubs,

• Smart black trousers (school trousers),

• Black belt if necessary,

• Woggle (which they will make at Scouts),

• Royal Navy Ratings Hat (Scout shop or Becketts Army & Navy Store),

• Bosuns Call and Lanyard (available via the group, subsidised by the Royal Navy),

• Badges transferred from their Cub uniform: World Membership badge, Group Tag, Eastern Norwich, Royal Navy, Cub Silver (if awarded), Staged Activity badges and Participation badge.

Badges not transferred onto their Scout uniform can join the Beaver badges on their camp blanket which they started in Cubs.
